Lyana Delgado receives the 2017 Creswell Graduate Student Award.

Lyana is a Lab member and will complete her Master of Public Health degree in August. She is interested in health promotion and increasing access to and use of reproductive health services, especially within underserved and underrepresented communities.

Congratulations on a well-deserved recognition of your achievements, Liliana! To name a few, Lyana taught classes in human sexuality that inspired several of her students to create sexual health programs within their respective communities. In collaboration with La Casa Cultural Latina, she developed a workshop series on sexual health that was offered during the 2016-2017 academic year. Geared toward the needs of Latino students on campus, the culturally sensitive workshops provided a pathway for them to voice their health-related needs and concerns.
